Tsunami Japanese Inc

The waiter, unfortunately dropped all glasses on ME & PROCTOLOGIST LEG. I had my leg checkout and it was WONDERFUL, next day. Unfortunately the bill was the same afterwards but Kayla, the manager was on the top of it all. She was working and it was fine to see Kayla deliver so much in her crowd. Still the bill has to be fixed but that never happened.

I really did not like this place... The sushi was so americanized. It didnt taste good at all. It was really cold, like it had been in a fridge for a while and the server was really unprofessional. She came by our table 2 times - the first to take an order and the next to bring our food. I wouldnt go back here. Sorry.

we have been to many japanese restaurants and this one has been the best. we brought my daughter for her birthday and the chef made sure to go out of his way to make it special for her. food was awesome and so was the service; prices are reasonable as well.

Before going to Tsunami I read the reviews but thought I would give it a try, my friends eat there a lot and have never complained. I asked to sit at sushi bar and joked with my server and asked her if Chef Ramsey would be in the kitchen yelling today, her response was that after a staff meeting the problem was rectified; my experience was great, service exceeded my expectations and food was phenomenal, I highly recommend everyone to bring their family and give Tsunami a try.

All I have to say is this.... I have been going to Tsunami for several years and have ALWAYS gotten nothing but (1) great service (2) good food and (3) great value! The staff and owner greet me with kind faces and act like they are genuinely glad to see me! The food -whether it is sushi or the hibachi grill has always been delicious and fresh and I FAR prefer it over Nakato's or Kabuto's. I just dont think you can get a better value for the buck! I always use my Valpak coupon which only makes the value even better.



As far as the "background" noise coming from the kitchen from another review... maybe someone was having a super bad day and unfortunately you and your daughter were the victims of the conversation. My guess is that if you go in and speak with the owner and tell him your issue -he will be happy to make things right! I just feel like if I am unhappy with a place the best thing to do is tell the owner to give them an opportunity to make it better! Give it another try!

I came to eat at Tsunami for lunch recently with my daughter and thought the food and service was great. I sat at the end of the sushi bar and the sushi chef and waitress was very helpful in answering my questions. I've never had sushi before and they provided great recommendations. Overall the food tasted great, all the staff was friendly, and was given everything I needed before I asked. The only problem I had with Tsunami was atmosphere. It had a very bland look to it, and throughout my meal, I kept hearing yelling from the kitchen. I'm guessing it was a kitchen manager, but every couple minutes I kept hearing someone screaming "dumba**" or "idiot" or a variety of things. I came to eat with my daughter and did not expect her to hear anything like that while we ate. I hoped the yelling would stop so that we could enjoy a peaceful meal, but eventually we had to leave due to it. I'm not sure I would return due to the atmosphere, but possibly since the service and sushi was great. If you do decide to go, ask for V or Vinny, they're great.
