Steve Valente's Pro Shop

Went there this morning to get a new ball drilled. Since I haven't bowled in almost a decade, I was seriously rusty and had little knowledge about new ball technology. Steve patiently explained everything to me, took accurate measurements, tested and retested - then delivered me a perfectly drilled ball with my name engraved on it in less than 30 minutes while I watched The Talk in his front office.



Once the ball was finished, he took the time to correct my bowling throw and explained the particulars of different hand positions. Mr. Valente was so gracious, so kind, and so patient. It's rare to find businesses which deliver that level of service anymore. I'll be telling everyone I know to go to his pro shop (located inside Clayton Valley Bowl in Concord, California).
