I am a new agent and closed my first transaction with Realty Escrow. The team was extremely helpful in guiding my client as well as myself throughout the entire transaction.

They are the worst escrow company I ever dealt with. The owner is Robert, he doesn't return calls and he has the front desk say he out when he is actually there. We called the office while we were waiting for him and the front desk said he is out for lunch.

DO NOT USE THIS ESCROW, Carol Alvarez is a bold face lier , It took 10days to get escrow instructions. If I could give them zero stars I would they do not return phone calls. There is not one ounce of professionalism in that office.

My #1 preferred escrow company. They will go out of their way to personally deliver loan docs. I am happy with their service.

I've been using this escrow for a while and close many transactions. They provide fast and professional service. Highly recommended

If i could give negative stars i would.
Dealing with carol and her lies has been the worst thing ever. She lied to us about sending us our refund and if refusing to cooperate with putting through our home warrenty that our sellers paid for. Shes lied repeatedly and im really close to taking legal action.

Carol Alvarez at Realty Escrow Corporation just helped us close on our first home and to say our experience was EXCELLENT is an understatement! She was patient and understanding with us and went above and beyond to make sure we closed this deal in a timely manner. From the very beginning, she made us feel comfortable and 'held our hand' so to speak, during the whole process. She is extremely knowledgable and takes the time to answer any question you have! i HIGHLY recommend this company, especially working with CAROL! With the new changes we hope to provide excellent service to our clients.. brokers, agents, buyers & sellers alike. While I know that NOT ALL our clients felt the same as those who have posted on here - and we do apologize to those who were not happy- we understand that these reviews are obviously not flattering. Completely dropped the ball on our closing. Did not record the Grant Deed! Title remained unchanged...no reconveyance, no lien removals, the list goes on. On top of that they are so very busy and unresponsive. Avoid at all costs.

This is the worst escrow company I've ever worked with. The escrow instructions took 2 weeks to receive. The escrow officer. Andy Lee was unresponsive most of the time and told me several misstatements (at minimum) during the escrow as to the status. I have yet to receive closing papers, my commission check, the buyers' closing papers and refund 10 days past closing. He has not returned my phone calls asking for the status.

As one of the posters already mentioned, trying to get the refund on deposited funds seems to be difficult with this company even with appropriate contracts signed by both seller and buyer to release funds...seems that I'll be following the same route to get my money back and will also be filing a dispute with the Department of Corporations. STAY AWAY from any seller wanting to work with this company. They do not even bother to return calls regarding your inquiries.

These guys are terrible. We cancelled our escrow before we removed contingencies, and they refused to send the deposit to us even after we supplied all the required documentation. We were forced to go to court to pursue the deposit. After winning the case, their escrow officer, Anderson Lee, still would not send the deposit after multiple requests. It finally took sending a courier to their offices to pick up the check. This company is a joke.

Way overpriced - total ripoff - you can get the same service from virtually any other escrow company for half the price
