General Info

Since 1966, Burke Handling Systems, Inc. has been providing forklifts and material handling solutions to our customers in Mississippi. Founded as Mississippi Clarklift, Inc. by Robert O. Burke and Barney Hasenyager, the corporation originally was a franchised dealer for both CLARK and CROWN equipment. The original dealership was located on Florence Street in Jackson. The corporation soon outgrew that facility and moved to our present location on Highway 49 South in 1970. To service our customer's needs, branch facilities were opened in Greenville in 1975, Columbus in 1976 and Hattiesburg in 1995. In 1985 we changed our name to Burke Handling Systems, Inc. to more accurately describe the complete line of material handling equipment and services we now offer. In addition to CLARK Material Handling and CROWN Equipment, we also represent Linde North America, Doosan Industrial Vehicle, Landoll, Sellick Equipment, Hawker Industrial Battery and a complete line of warehouse products.
