Blackwell Island RV Park

Beautiful park and great location. This would be an absolutely perfect park if you are over 50 and it is just you and your spouse. The park is ran by a group of people who are extremely crabby. Just checking in they treated us like we were stupid, repeating themselves and not listening to what we were saying. The problem with this park is there are SO MANY rules the only thing you can really do is sit in your camper. The park was maybe 1/4 to 1/2 full on a traditionally busy camping weekend- (Memorial Weekend). Right there we should have taken that as a hint, people don't come here for a reason or the camp ground would have been more at capacity. If I was looking for somewhere to stay in CDA....keep looking, you will be disappointed if you choose here. My suggestion for the management of this campground--turn this into a campground for people with no families, because your campground is NOT family friendly and that is evident by the fact you charge for anyone over 2 people. I know my family won't be staying here again.
