Cya Powder Coating

I was in the process of getting rid of my old patio set when my neighbor told me about CYA. I gave them a call and i am so happy i did, they were able to restore my table and chairs to make them look brand new! Very pleased! Will be coming back.

OK I'm hooked. Powder Coating is way nicer than I expected. We used CYA for a new build we have been manufacturing to deliver Overseas. We saved thousands not using a standard solvent and the finished product is above the necessity. They are good people and great at what they do. I definitely endorse their services. Go get your powder coating done by these guys.

I have used this business for several items and have never been disappointed. As a matter of fact, once when I went to pick up a car badge. that they powder coated for me, THEY saw an error , apologized and re-worked the entire job. No extra charge of course.

What I noted right away from GeoffF is he stated this: We were a customer for over a year, brought alot of business to them, then he goes off on a tangent as to the "shoddy work and the lousy customer service. So Geoff, this place was so bad you kept coming back for more???? BBBBBbrrrRrtttTttt .. Wrong answer Geoffy.. The way I see it, they obviously admitted the job was not done the way it should have been. Like it or not, in life we have issues happen, in this case, a death in the family. Of course Geoff is the type of man who always says he wants his stuff YESTERDAY!

In the entire year that Geoff brought his business back over and over, he never once took the time to write a decent review.. We ALL have had clients such as Geoff, NOTHING will make them happy except bringing misery to others. Geoff I am happy the your are in a business that has NEVER made an error. I can imagine you were a whiner growing up and Mommy & Daddy brought you plenty of candy. No doubt you are a lard *ss.

This company has ALWAYS done right by me, I am not related to anyone there nor do they give me "special pricing", they simply do superior work.. The best of luck to you guys.

I would like to pay regard to this review from Geoff Fickling (gf@team-pelfrey.com) I, Levi A. Lingenfelter, am not the type of person to run from a challenge. As Geoff stated we had done business for the past year. He failed to mention that I have stripped and powder coated over 50 sets of rims and done a fantastic job. The turnaround time extremely fast, pricing was competitive and the quality was superb (Able to last numerous pit stops and quick changes with out fade or chipping.) We had a communication mishap and powder coated his set of machine lip rims Red, when they were in fact supposed to be gloss white, it was a rush job and we messed up. I stand behind that and tried my very best to remedy the situation. He needed them back to do his qualifying race. He took the "Pinkish" rims and proceeded to race. I promised to make the situation right when he returned. He brought back the "Pinkish" rims and the next day my family member passed away leading to an uproar in our production schedule. I was never given a firm date from Team Pelfrey to complete the rims and our schedule was in haywire. He called me Thursday to get an ETA and I explained that I had not started them but would get them taken care of and delivered to his facility the next morning. This was not adequate, he wanted them immediately. I apologized relentlessly and told him I would do what it takes to make this right. He then stated that he did not care about my family or my problems, which in business is understandable, its not personal its business. Thru and thru. I tried my very best to take care of the situation (he received a full refund) but you cannot please everybody. We are a FAMILY BUSINESS. We treat everyone fair. We provide extremely fast turnaround times with the utmost quality coating at a competitive price. God bless Geoff! There are three sides to a story; His, mine, and the truth.

NEVER use CYA POWDERCOATING. (I only gave them 1 star because 0 stars wasn't an option.) We were a customer for over a year, brought alot of business to them. Their powder-coating work was shabby, not very durable. But that's beside the point. Their customer service is as bad as it gets. They screwed up a set of wheels for us that were supposed to go gloss white, instead they shot them gloss red. They were already well past their promised deadline, so this made it even worse. Levi (probably the worst person in the world), who runs CYA, gave me his word that he would strip all of the red off and re-shoot them gloss white by the end of the day. We pick them up and they are half white, half pink, because he didn't in-fact strip them all the way like he promised. Now, our deadline is so far gone now that we have to take them as is and hit the road with these awful pinkish wheels. He promised to make it right when we return back to town. So, we returned three weeks later, I pay to dismount the tires, hand deliver the messed-up wheels back to CYA, tell them we need them in a week, and make them perfect if you want our future business. I call them back in a week and they hadn't even started. Levi freaks out and says he'll get them to me late Friday afternoon, not enough time to get our tires mounted for our next trip. I told him that was unacceptable, I need them in the morning. He said ok. Ten minutes later, he pulls up to our place of business, throws the wheels in our front lawn, covered in freshly applied acid stripper, and yells to one of my employees as he's walking away, "tell Geoff to go f*** himself." Did I mention that I had paid for them in full a month prior? CYA and Levi: it couldn't get any worse. Terrible ethics. Terrible business. Avoid at all costs.
