They are the BEST! No need to look anywhere else. They have been wonderful with my older cocker spaniel and my kitty. Excellent service, super caring and a reasonable cost. Priceless to me. This was my four place in an attempt to find veterinarian and I have finally have found the perfect place.

Provided by SuperpagesWe recently took our dog and cat to "A Pet's Place". Dr. Cowden was gentle, patient, very likeable and highly competent. He answered all of our questions and personally called the next day to let us know the results of the lab tests. The staff is wonderful and were very gracious when we had to reschedule an earlier appointment. We are very pleased and impressed with Dr. Cowden and his staff. We will definitely return and our family highly recommends Dr. Dan Cowden and "A Pet's Place." Puppy & G.G.'s Parents.

Provided by SuperpagesI've been going to A PETS PLACE of Clearwater since 2006 when my dog Molly was being taken care of by the staff. They were always professional and caring of my Molly and was there for us when we had to put her down. That was a sad chapter in our lives and the staff was very tender and loving with her and us. Now, we have a Boxer named Honey who's a handful and the staff are just as caring with her. We have boarded Honey with A Pets Place when we have gone on vacations. We always feel like we've left Honey in the best hands and never worry about how she's doing. I will always bring my pets there for care and health checks. The prices are reasonable too. Provided by SuperpagesI brought my dog Misty to see Dr. Cowden for the first time yesterday and I must share that I was exceptionally pleased with the attention from both the front desk staff and Dr Cowden that Misty received. It was evident that they were truly animal lovers and I found Dr. Cowden to be thorough in his examination and he took the time to answer all my questions. Having tried several other vets in the area, I now feel that Misty has found a home and we will be coming back !!
Dr Cowden is an EXCELLENT VET and his staff is AMAZING. Our dog has been going to them since he was 8 weeks old and he just turned 10 years old. My little jack russel has a problem with his hip/ legs at times and also allergies and Dr. Cowden always knows how to make him feel better. Really kind and caring.
I had went to other Vet office and was told that my cat needed to be put down, that was not happening. I took him to Dr. Cowden and he fixed him up and is feeling much better! I would recommend him, he is very caring and respectful on what needs to be done! I would trust him with my animals!
I felt the pricing was fair, but I brought Barney in for a dental cleaning, and when I picked him up, they told me he had a ear infection, but I'd have to make another appointment to discuss treatment. In other words, money was more important than Barney's suffering. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

Provided by SuperpagesThe staff was friendly and caring. The doctor was great - knowledgable and he didn't speak down to me. He saw my ailing pet immediately and did life-saving surgery on her. I felt the price for this emergency care was very reasonable! I will be going back when needed again/
My Pet Was So Sick, I Knew He Was Going To Die! My First Vets Opinion Was To Not Try. Dr Cowden Was So Nice And Professional And Had Him Feeling Better In No Time. Give Him A Chance And You'll Understand Why He's Been The Best Veterinarian In Clearwater For Over 20 Yrs.
