Beware, after signing the lease, the attitude changes and becomes less helpful and more about the money.

We have mixed feelings about this company. Though professional and to the point, there is definitely the commercial aspect which doesn't always translate in kind service. This in our case resulted in a lot of inconvenience when ending our lease via Village before the contract was up. We immediately paid our fines and lost our deposit as per our contact but had to deal with lots of servicemen and massive, noisy machinery running day and night in both bathrooms during the last weeks of our stay and while preparing to move (the old house had its issues -- the main reason we wanted to end our lease early) without any sense of compassion (and indeed, a new renter moved in the moment we left). An email explaining the inconvenience for us and our two year old and asking why not wait until we have moved out remained unanswered. Having to sit with three ladies (prospective renters, they were lovely) while waiting for the agent who never showed up because s/he had already found a new renter was another strange experience.

I made the mistake of using LISA FRIEDMAN as my real estate agent. She failed to read the closing documents, would not answer sellers' calls on closing day, and failed to purchase a home warranty as promised. When I confronted her about her mistakes, she hired a lawyer to attack me personally.

Selling your home is always more than you think it will be. You deal with your emotional attachment, stressing over if you are doing everything you can do to make it sell, preparing for actually moving, and more than likely is your agent doing everything he or she can to sell your home. With Marie, selling my home was easy.



Marie came into our home and spoke to us as if we were her friends but the house was her business. She had compiled an entire sales book for us to consider and left with cost and profit estimates and just asked that we consider her advice for the home even if we didn't ask her to represent us. Of course we called her back almost immediately! Her entire team went into marketing mode and as we prepared for showings and the results speak for themselves. From professional photographs for the virtual tour, using every resource available to market the home, to even just talking about the home in casual conversations, Team LaVoise sold our house so quickly my head is still spinning.



The care hasn't stopped either, being a military family, we are frequently separated due to training, PCS moves, or deployments. Marie has stepped up to help us remain organized and fully prepared to close on the home. She has gone out of her way to simplify things as much as possible for us to the point where all we have to do is move and show up for the closing. Marie has personally gone above and beyond any expectations we had for a Realtor and is helping our family be together sooner, and we couldn't be more grateful!
