I would recommend anyone who wants an amazing original piece of art to come here!! Very comfortable, clean, courteous. .the best

I love this place. I came on vacation from illinois and now i want more but i will wait until this summer to go back up to clarksville and get them done there.

I do not work for Blu Hanya but have been going there multiple times over a back piece they are doing for me. I do not believe they are black listed by the military seeing as I have seen military people in there while get tattooed. Everytime I have went to get a tattoo done by Mathew the owner it has been a great expirience and they were never anything but professional and courteous. They have always given great deals as well and have saved me alot of money on my tattoo, so I do not understand why someone would want to go to another place other than blu hanya, but if they did I could not see anyone working at blu hanya threatening or cursing at a client. This is simplely hard to believe. So anyone getting a tattoo should ignore the negative reviews in my opinion.

It seems they have a few haters on here. Let me explain something to everyone this shop does things totally differently and are very professional. so the tid bit about them rolling their eyes at you about your ideas is bogus. and you wouldnt of talked to an artist if you werent getting a tattoo that day thats not how they do ethings. you would of talked to their front girl. and they have a perfect health score, i know because i asked to see them. do your research people and go into shops. I got a not so good tattoo by a total creeper from someone else in town. they really are awesome artists and can do everything!! They will get my business and ill tell everyone i know!! You guys rock haters are going to hate!!

as a rebuttal to Daniel L's review. Yes we did explain to them that we did not want their business anymore. And yes words were exchanged with him because the previous time he was in our shop his wife, who had been tattooed by the artist in the past, inquired about a portrait of their daughter. The artist gave his wife the price, which was fair for the price of portraits and for his quality. His wife was well aware of his portrait prices and quality because she had already gotten a portrait from him. When she went home and told her husband the price, he than came back up to the shop and was very rude to our shop manager badgering and haggling about the price, being very short to her and just talking down to her. she explained the size he thought the tattoo should be was not a tattooable size for a portrait and explained the amount of hours it takes to execute a good portrait and that is why the price was that. the artist was actually cutting her a deal from his normal portrait prices because she was a repeat customer. Her husband still thought it was bogus and left the shop with an attitude. His wife even came up and apologized to the artist and our shop manager on how her husband behaved in our shop. so when he came back in, the artist talked to him about his actions and how he spoke with our shop manager. People need to remember the customer is not always right, and you cannot talk to people in any way you seem fit. to get respect you must give it first. the artist is very passionate and does not condone people mistreating his co-workers. We even offered to go a bit lower on the price of the portrait because he did not want to see her get a poorly done portrait, especially since there are few artist in the area who can truly tattoo a well done portrait. He was not mad that she was going somewhere else for work, but that how her husband acted in our place of business. He does feel a bit of betrayl that he was willing to work with her on the price, as he did with the first portrait he did on her, almost doing it for half his portrait prices. If she would of came in and just talked to us about the price we could of worked with her. Instead her husband came in and belittled our hand crafted permanent work we do and insulted us by giving us such a hard time about the price. Would you work all day on a job putting lots of time and focus into doing your very best and than someone not wanting to pay you what is fair for the work you did? we have bills just like everyone else, this is not a hobby for us but our livelihood, please keep that in mind when talking to people who hand craft anything for you. Included at the top is the portrait of Ozzy Osborne, which was the first portrait he did on her, just to show you his quality of work.

wish i could give them more stars but they are awesome.so friendly and nice and my tattoo came out perfect. it was just a small one and i was really scared bcuz it was my first tattoo. they were so patient though and talked me through it!! Thanks Adam it is awesome!!

This shop is very petty. The owner and his group of friends try to bully other shops. Everyone that puts a review for them puts up a bad one for another shop. Grow up. It's obvious they trying to boost themselves at the expense of other shops.

by far the best shop in town!! super nice, professional and knowledge staff and great well rounded artists. went and looked at a few other shops but they could not come close to the quality you will get from them. Matt is truly and amazing tattoo artist. go see him you wont regret it!!
