Founded in 1920, the Sweetwater Union High School District offers educational opportunities for more than 42,000 students in grades 7 through 12. The district governs Bonita Vista Middle School, Castle Park High School, Chula Vista Middle School, Hilltop Middle School and Mar Vista High School. It governs accounting, adult education, human resources, information technology, purchasing and maintenance departments.
