Tri-Star was sent to our house through our home warranty, American Home Shield. The tech came to our house unprepared-no ladder or tape measure. He was unprofessional and tracked mud through the house. Shortly after he left, we noticed the temperature inside the house was climbing. The tech came back and said he found a burnt wire and terminal. He said he would just put the wiring on a different terminal. A fireball shot out of my AC unit. He told me he would be back in a week to fix it. I said I would call the insurance company in the morning and he should do the same.“Lewis” called me and said I was attacking his tech and that I should call the insurance company and tell them I did not want them back on my property. I said I did not say that, I just want my AC fixed. We lived in discomfort or eight days, as it was 90 degrees inside our home. I called our Home Owner’s Insurance and they took care of it in 2 days. Do not get involved with this company. Horrible experience!
