I love One Stop Moving, they moved my household goods from Chesapeake Va to Eden Nc. They were professional, kind, and on time. I will definitely use them again in the future. They were reasonably priced so i wasn't paying an arm and a leg.

I did not listen to the former reviews and lost $300. Do not hire this company or whatever it is. I do not think this is even a moving company, I think it is headed my one person and he gets movers and trucks. Anyway, a man name Karl Moore came to my apartment to give me an estimate on my move to GA. He told me over the phone that it was going to be 1600, then after he got to my apartment, told me 1700 and it was going to be a 300 deposit. I thought it was strange that he changed the price so quickly and I thought it was strange that he did not have an instrument to key in my items for the move. He just did a quick visual. but did not write anything down. to get an estimate of the weight, but in my haste to move I did not listen to my gut and I paid the deposit. Afterwards, I did some investigation on other websites and made some phone calls. I did not like what I found, so three days later I cancelled my move. Mr. Moore would not give me my deposit back, even though on the paper I signed, it did not have a policy on refunds AT ALL. I am in the process of taking him to court. ****A legit moving coming would not require a deposit and/or will have refund policy written down. Please don't be like me and get taken my this "company"

When I called one stop (literally at the last minute) I was told they

were booked, but could squeeze me in. I was told it would take 2 men and cost $250 the first 2

hours and $50 every 30 mins. I was fine with that.They arrived the next day with 3 men and charged me $300 the first 2 hours and $75 every 30 mins. Really?!?! I proceed it was last minute and I had to move. As they look around my apartment...now it's like oh we charge for sofas, love seats, washer and dryers, etc.SERIOUSLY!!! I've never been charged extra for such items and I've moved a lot. I asked them to move the items and I would call the office since this wasn't stated to me before. Please get all details up front from these people cause they are out to scam!!! Spoke to the office they were no help and stated it's in the contract. They wanted $100 per piece and then dropped to $25. How sweet! As the movers are doing their job a lady pulls up (come to find out it's the owners wife) ranting and raving over the her and husbands (the owner) divorce case. That's very professional!! Moving on the movers stab each other in the back. My dresser was broken literally and no one took the blame, but one of the movers was nice of enough to tell me who did it. I asked the guys to take additional items to salvation army and I would pay an extra $50 to drive literally across the street from my storage unit. As soon as I showed them my things. The one mover thought it was a free for all and said he wanted everything, ok but I'm not paying an extra $50. Long story short I complained to the office about the extra mover, oversize charges, the unprofessional wife, etc. I get a sorry!! Oh that's nice. The owner Karl Moore he's a joke. He hung up on me the one time I did talk to him. I'm responsible for a dresser your mover broke (is your company not insured?) Regardless if I purchased insurance or not. Right is right and wrong is wrong. I'm surprised he's still in business with his bad bbb (F rating) & google reviews. I learned my lesson research moving companies through the internet and always check bbb.

Do not use this Business. This was one of my worst moves ever. They damaged my walls and furniture and refuse to take care of it. The manager was a jerk and refused to talk to us.

I would tell anyone that needs to move, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I don't know what they are like in other states, but the ones in Chesapeake gave us the worse moving experience we have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Firstly, they forgot we wanted them to pack and over booked so that they were in a hurry to get us done and over. They would not take many of the boxes that we had packed and left a living room of boxes and sundry that I had to move the next day, congestive heart failure and all. Then when we opened a box that was clearly labeled "Fragile! Glass" there was a broken vase that my wife had gotten from her deceased mother. Also, when they arrived, they said they accepted cash only. No one told us this when we scheduled the move on the phone. Thank god for ATM's. They will load your stuff but you have to pay them BEFORE they unload. This is our fourth move in the last 7 years and we always used another company before who we loved the service. I made the mistake of trying to save $50.00 with a coupon we got in the mail. Never again. If and when we move again we will stay far away from One Stop Movers.

Amazing job done by One Stop Moving. I called to book a move for November 18, and I spoke with a very nice gentleman, he said it was no problem to move me. We set a time up and the movers showed up 15 minutes before my time. They were dressed very professional, and had a professional demeanor. I will use them again in the future.

This company showed up short handed which meant we were charged more for the time it took. The company's owner arrived and berated my wife to the point of tears. He told us that our things would stay in his truck unless we gave home more money. We gave him all of our money and we had to finish the move ourselves. Worst experience ever!
