Conyers Electrical Service

I wish that I could give them 10 stars; it is so nice to know that there are still companies out there that offer quality work for reasonable prices and have truly professional employees that will go above and beyond to give their customers outstanding service.



I purchased a house that was built in 1939 and discovered that the 3-prong outlets that had been installed were just replacements - the wiring had never been updated and they were not really grounded. Other outlets that I needed for appliances were still the 2-prong type; at the very least I needed get those updated.



I called Conyers based on the reviews here and pictures of their work on FB. They were out the next day; Henry was on time, thorough and efficient in his inspection of the panel and the outlets.



I decided to bite the bullet and have the house completely rewired. The price was competitive and Steve was readily available by phone (even outside of "typical" business hours) if I needed to speak with him. Henry was on site every day, overseeing the crew while they were working, and the entire team was very accommodating and respectful with regards to requests or questions I had.



Bonus: They cleaned up after themselves! (Many of you may be thinking - "Well, yes, they're SUPPOSED to clean up after themselves..." but I had some recent dealings with other contractors whose idea of "cleaning up" was, at best, a joke. These guys REALLY cleaned up after themselves.)



I am COMPLETELY satisfied with the work, have told everyone that I know about their company and work ethic and will definitely call them in the future for any electrical work that I need done.

I called for a quote for an attic fan installation. I was referred to another company, that they recommended, who they have a "great relationship with" I received a quote for the installation, only to have the original date of installation canceled. When the crew arrived to complete the install (15 minutes late) on the new date, I found out the only part of the installation they do is install it on the roof, I will need to pay extra to have it wired in or call another company. Almost feels like a scam. Most folks would believe when you ask for the installation it would include all aspects of the installation. The second company, recommended by Conyers left us feeling very slighted. Conyers should reconsider who they recommend, or ensure all aspects of the job are covered.

I came downstairs to the smell of an electrical fire and smoke filling the entire downstairs. After determining there was no longer any active fire, we called Conyers Electrical Service Inc.. The electrician, Steven, told us we were very fortunate that the box didn't explode and catch the entire house on fire. Apparently, someone had installed the wrong type of fuse which was connected to the a/c unit. However, because it was the wrong type of fuse it may have kept the whole breaker box from catching fire because as the fuse melted it lost contact with the electric current and the fire smoldered out.Steven was very personable, polite, and did not pressure us in any way. He even offered to come back if we got a second opinion to make sure the other guy knew what he was talking about. We skipped the second opinion and let Steven get to work. He did a great job!! Thank you Jesus for your protection and Conyers Electric for your quick and honest work!!

Our 2 speed pool pump burned up on the start of Memorial Day weekend. After searching for and finally finding our replacement pump Sat am, we tried to install the motor ourselves. By the afternoon, we had given up and decided it was time to find an electrician. After reading the reviews about Conyers Electrical, we called and spoke with Steve. He was very polite and assured us that he would have someone come out to do the install within a few hours. When his crew was postponed with their current work order, Steve came out to help us himself. It turns out there were some wiring problems from the original pump installation causing our confusion and he was able to get the pump installed correctly and quickly. Steve also pointed out other issues with our electrical setup and explained it all in great detail. He reassured us that our new pump is now installed safely and he will return next week to install the proper conduit needed. I can't thank him enough for assisting us so late in the evening on a holiday weekend, taking the time to explain in detail what the issues were with the pump and also pointing out the other issues that led to the demise of the original pump. Great job Steve, Thank you!! I'll be happy to refer everyone to Conyers Electrical for his wonderful service!

Steve with Conyers Electrical is awesome! We had another company install our new furnace incorrectly. Steve came out within an hour and fixed the problem! We would highly recommend Conyers Electrical! They are a knowledgeable and honest company.

I had some electrical issues in my house about a week ago. Two switches went out and I wasn't sure why so I had my husband check it out and he didn't know...so it was time to call an electrician. I called two and Conyers was able to come out the very next day. It took a little bit of time to find the issue (I had a switch in another room that was feeding the two that were out) but once he found it, it was a snap! Prices are reasonable and they do it by the job and not the hour, which I like. I know some companies charge by the hour...and my bill would have been almost $500. With Conyers, it was substantially less. Work was great, service tech was on time and clean. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to others that need electrical work done.

We recently had Conyers Electrical come to our house to perform some work that we needed. We have used them multiple times and each time that we use them we are completely satisfied. We have had them install ceiling fans, light switches, new ceiling lights, along with other things. Each time they come, their guys are very professional, polite, and always clean up after their work. Their prices always seem to be the best and we would definitely recommend them to anyone that has any electrical work that needs to be done. We will be calling them again.

and patient with grandbabies there. he found the electrical problem in

less than 15 minutes --had the parts I needed in his truck..gave me an

excellent price on running new breakers 4 frig and 4 a freezer that I am

going 2 purchase. before he left he asked if I had gfi breakers in bathrooms..I

never thought of that-I let the 3 year old and 2 year old play in my double vanity

with water..within minutes he found where there should be a breaker..i am so

grateful 4 his suggestion since and outlet is so close 2 where they play in water.

Steve and his team were faced with a 60 year old electric service that had been piece

patched together for years. He came out within a few hours of the service call, after the main panel caught on fire, had an estimate back by email in a few hours, which was a very fair price. Others quoted me twice a much for the total service replacement. Arrived the next day, and the guys knocked the job out before they left that evening. Not only works great, but the panel looks like a work of art in there.

Come to think of it, The Conyers guys bailed me out of gas plumbing nightmare a few years ago. They did a great job there too. Set the standard for excellence for all contractors. Thanks, Steve.

I want to thank Denise from lisa saunders remax group, for a referral she gave today for an electrician who was an amazingly nice guy, responded to an urgent call that our friend Ramazon from mayflower cafe ,who had a serious electrical problem that would have closed his restaurant because he couldn't use his grills or fryers due to a circuit issue. Ramazon called 3 electricians , they all 3 said they didn't want to handle the problem that it was very complicated. I called One guy, who told me the mayflower electrical is a mess and he didnt want to handle either. Denise's referral , Steve Conyers 714-0014 responded IMMEDIATELY! He made it to Ramazons cafe.. Understanding and caring about the urgency if the nature if this call without me having tonpoint that out! Steve Fixed the intricate circuit electrical issue and Charged a very reasonable fee! Ramazon could hv easily lost 1000's of dollars of business from closing but Steve got him up n running when 4 other electricians turned him down! Then Steve called "me" back and gave me a full report! That's excellence! He was incredibly professional . So I am passing on a referral for an electrician if you guys need one for your residential or commercial needs or businesses . Ramazon and I recommend Conyers electric. They have a Facebook pAge and a yellowpages ad! i will use steve conyers from today forward for all my electrical needs at my home and my office! It's refreshing to receive excellent customer service directly from the electrician knowing how busy he must be. It totally blessed me.

These guys were the best....The overhead light in the kitchen had blown out. I called Conyers in Va Beach and 2 hours later my light was replaced. I used Conyers based on the review rating. As always, I doubted the good reviews but was so pleased that the guys exceeded the best ratings....they put booties on prior to coming into the house....they explained everything and gave me options, options, options....and....they had great social etiquette...what a pleasure! These guys are great! Steve is the guy you want to handle your electical challenges. I lost power due to a short in the distribution box and Steve came out out after 9PM to look at the problem. He returned the next moring and worked until the power was restored; this was on one of our coldest days in January! Steve went beyond the call of duty and work looks professional. Plus his repair costs came in under what he estimated! Call this family-owned company.

We had been having electrical issues ever since hurricane Sandy blew through our region. The lights would dim unexpectedly, power would fail, and appliances weren't fully working. I contacted Conyers Electric based on ratings. What they delivered was personable, caring service. There initial check showed that a power surge had damaged the outside meter. They replaced that almost immediately. When the power issues continued, they returned and found that my electrical panel inside my home was ready to burst into flame. They worked with me on my time and budget, contacted my insurance company directly and fought to ensure my famiily and homes safety. I now have a new electrician upon whom I will rely for any electrical repairs now or in the future.

In this day and age, good customer service is often difficult to find, and I feel it is important that it be recognized. I received very high quotes form other company's, and your prices are by far, much more affordable then your completers. Your service was prompt, and your electrician, Henry, did a excellent job hanging our chandelier. Very reasonable prices, came on time when they said they would. Will use them again.

I called Conyers Electrical Service to my home because i was having electrical problems lights were dimming, my A/C was out and the electrical panel was hot to the touch. I called this company at 8:30 PM and they were out here 30min later. my electrical panel was burned up and they did a panel change that night so we could have power that night. The crew of guys that came to my home were very polite and a respectful. I called other companies that night and got no answer they were on time and there prices were more that reasonable. I would reccomend this company to everyone i know.
