Richard spoke with me in the early morning and said he'd get back to me; he never did. He said he had a few things to do then would try to stop by, but I never heard back from him. I guess I wouldn't want to hire someone who can't even make a phone call. That's ok, we gave the job to someone else.

Richard and crew were absolutely professional and did a wonderful job repairing our home. They were quick to respond, were on time, and did exactly what we needed to have done. I am very picky, and I couldn't find a single flaw with any of the work. They are courteous and professional, and I could tell they enjoyed what they do! I would call them again in a heartbeat. Great work, professionals, very clean, and meticulous.

Above Board Drywall & More Inc. is the best company I've ever had to deal with when it comes to home repairs. Richard was very professional and prompt from the start. He, Tom, and Melvin did a great job and I plan on recommending them to all of my friends and family. The job was completed quickly and without any leftover materials or necessary cleanup. I also spent much less than anticipated. I selected this company solely because of its good reviews. That may not be the best way to do it, but in this case it worked out perfectly.

Richard and Tom are 2 of the most professional men we have ever met! Prompt, Courteous and Personable, their work left no doubt in our minds that we would be able to recommend them to anyone who asked or needed work and we would gladly have them back in our home to do work again. I called Richard and he came out the next day, gave a fair price and showed up on time and Tom and he went to work. They went above and beyond to protect my property and did and AWESOME repair that I still can;t find any evidence of the holes that were there previously!! Richard and Tom were true professionals! They contacted me right away after my inquiry. The in-home estimate went exactly as planned and the pricing was better than I could have hoped for. Richard and Tom are very friendly as well as family orientated and were excellent with all 3 of my children. The job I had lined up was no easy task. I wanted old plaster torn out, old blown insulation removed, new insulation installed, non-used doorways closed off, and fresh paint ready drywall hung and they handled it quickly and flawlessly. Richard even went above and beyond by fixing my front door because he noticed it was hard to shut. (Thanks Richard I don't have to slam my door shut anymore!) I WILL be calling Richard and Tom back for ANY future work and HIGHLY recommend them to anybody who asks about needing home remodeling done.

After giving me a bid on my poor, 56 year old ceiling which was falling down, Richard and Tom were at my house at the agreed to time. After laying down tarps to protect my floors and hanging plastic to protect my blinds AND my CHRISTMAS TREE, (my grandchildren will appreciate THAT), they got to work immediately. They are extremely efficient and were done in just a few hours, but NOT at the expense of craftsmanship. Their work is beyond compare. I was hesitant at first about Richard's suggestion for the finish on my ceiling, but agreed to it because he assured me it would turn out beautiful. He was sooooo right, IT DID. I love the finish, which proves to me he knows what he's doing. Tom's craftsmanship is superior. He has years and years of experience and knows what it takes to create a beautiful end product. These two men work together beautifully. A tandem team for sure.

The extra I wasn't expecting is how personable and funny these two professionals are. I really enjoyed chatting with them while they worked.

And lastly, they cleaned my space after they were done and left it like they hadn't even been here. I was extremely impressed with both of these professionals. They are talented, efficient, courteous and on time. I would hire them again in a minute.

I called Above Board Drywall after my husband fell through our ceiling. We had an important event at our home in 4 days and I was in a panic. Richard returned my call within minutes and scheduled a free estimate the next morning. His price was very reasonable and he was able to start the job the next day! He & Tom were very courteous and respectful while in our home. They were magicians with drywall & plaster! We were able to hold our scheduled event in our home and no one even believed that our ceiling had a hole it in just days before! I would recommend them to anyone with drywall and/or plastering needs! They are the BEST !!!
