Once Upon A Child

Total rip off, it would take me days to write everything that this store does that is very shady. The new owners have cleaned up the store, and made it look nicer, it takes less time to sell, but they have completely loss any concept of customer service. Don't ever dare to give them a bad review or complain because you will be attacked. They even took it to the extreme of slandering me online. They stated I had been put on trespass notice by the police and that I threatened employees. They made it obvious that they were lying because they said I was put on trespass notice three years ago yet then went on to say I had more than one phone number used for my past 13 transactions. Funny how they had me banned from the store by police supposedly but then let me continue to shop and sell for another 3 years. You would think I would have had some knowledge of this police interaction! Or that perhaps they would have noticed themselves that i was still shopping. Pretty stupid on their part to blatantly slander someone like that, it will be more than easy to prove that they never filed a trespass notice, or banned me at all! Amazing how childish a business owner could be.

This shop is one of the worst childrens consignments I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After bringing in 3 bins of little girls clothing (one bin being full of brand new items with tags still on) and another full of handmade lace and velvet dresses. I was told that I had to wait 6 hours to be told what they would give me. I obviously left and came back.

When I came back the woman was extremly rude and told me that they couldn't use anything because they had too many items in those sizes. While leaving I noticed the bins were a little light, but figured it was just me.

Two weeks later I go into the store wanting to buy a few things for my daughter... and what do I see! My handmade dresses for sale for 15.00 each (about 15 dresses total)! I took them off the rack and went directly to the cash register and explained to her the entire story of the woman telling me they couldn't take any, but they obviously had... She told me there was no way that would have happened and that there are many dresses like that.

I then pulled out my ID and showed her that my name matched the handmade tags in the dresses ( I had tags specially made for the items I make). She refused to give me anything for the dresses or the items back. She still refused to do anything about it telling me that if what I was saying was true than they are still not liable and did not owe me anything!


THESE PEOPLE ARE THEIFS!!! BEWARE!!!
