Arbor Therapy

It is my pleasure to write this review concerning Arbor Therapy and Amy Grulke. My wife had a severe cardiac illness and had been in hospital and in a rehabilitation center for over six weeks. During that time she had to receive her nutrition through a nose feeding tube (an NG tube). For anyone who has had that experience, you have my and my wife's sympathy, for those of you who have not; thank God you haven't.Because of the nose tube feeding, my wife had to relearn to swallow again. At the rehabilitation center she had been given a swallow therapy called "Vital Stem" therapy among other swallow therapies. The vital stem therapy is an electric stimulation and it was the therapy that was by far the most effective for my wife's condition.When my wife was released from the rehabilitation center she still had to have the nose tube in place to continue her nutrition regimen until she was evaluated to have the ability to swallow on her own. The problem was although I searched for three days via the telephone and internet, I could find no outpatient therapists in the area who had the vital stem equipment or the training to use it; that was until I luckily found Arbor Therapy and Amy.After receiving Amy's impressive credentials, visiting her location and insuring she had the vital stem equipment and the training to use it, my wife and I were overjoyed and ready to get to work with Arbor and Amy.I would like to tell all after receiving therapy at Arbor my wife no longer requires the nose tube, now has the ability to swallow, is eating regular meals once more and thank God we are a very happy family once more.My wife, Delia and myself, Ronald Howard highly recommend Amy and Arbor, use her, you will be highly satisfied.
