Ducky's Formal Wear Champaign

I have been to Ducky's many times (4+) and call 2 times for things unrelated to their store and they were always helpful. If your expectation for dress quality is not very high and are not keen on designers, Ducky's is a decent place to go to keep your budget low.

The employees are always personal and patient. I went bridal shopping 3 times and bought nothing (they didn't have the styles I was looking for). Even when I told from the get-go I was just looking for styles and don't plan to buy, they were always kind and helpful.

I even called twice, once for advises on purchasing online gowns and another for professional cleaning, and they offered very good suggestions even though they knew they would not make money off of me.

Eventually I ordered tuxes from them, and the guy helping us was knowledgeable and offered great suggestions on etiquette and style.

I bought my prom dress here, the staff was very friendly. I needed alterations & they charged $10 and they were done very quickly.

I originally went to Ducky's looking for a specific brand for bridesmaid dresses and had already found the dress I wanted for myself at a different store, but hadn't purchased it. The owner, Mary, looked up the dress I was interested in and offered to sell it to me for $125 cheaper than the other store was selling it for, plus Ducky's was much closer to my home for picking it up and it was great. The lady that did my alterations was very attentive and did a great job with my bustle, the hem, sizing a belt, and the bust of my dress.

I thought that duckys did a great job.

Ducky' is where we go whenever we need formal wear. The person we had worked with to get tuxedos for our wedding did not get them in time, we called Ducky's the day of our wedding and they got all of us fitted and in tuxes the same day for our wedding! Great service, great price, family owned and it shows, so much better than a chain.

They are good if you want a good value but customer service. All my vendors were GREAT! Great experience

I always go to ducky's for special occasions! The staff is professional and attentive, the prices are reasonable and they have gowns for every taste. They really take time with you to find /order/alter and they work with you on every detail. I am not easy to please and I cannot see going to a chain store without the attention to detail that Ducky's has.

They have a really good selection of dresses. The lady that helped me with my dress was as sweet as can be. The two ladies that help fit my dress were awesome! They did a wonderful job! I'll be taking my friends and sister there whenever they get married!

I really appreciated that they took care of calling the wedding party to remind them to come in and get fitted.

I was able to find something that I liked. They have a lot of discounts, like $$ off of the grooms or fathers tuxes and free invitations. Overall it was a good experience!

We loved their packages. I was able to get FREE programs and my grooms tux for FREE. My father also received his tux for 1/2 off. I also won $50 at a Bridal Expo off of another tux which they let me use in addition to all of my discounts.

I had so much fun at Ducky's! They have a huge selection of gowns with just about any type you could want. They also have a good selection of veils, tiaras, etc. to try on with the different gowns. The dressing rooms were very spacious, and there was no limit on the number of dresses you could take in there, so it was easy to hold different dresses up to each other and compare. And if you want something that they don't have, they have a good network of other stores they can order from so you can try to find the perfect dress. My only real complaint was that I didn't feel like I got honest opinions out of the sales staff. They just kept telling me that everything looked amazing. It was all right, because I had my mom to give me honest feedback, but it would have been nice to get an honest opinion out of the sales staff.
