Allen Home Masonry

Martin Allen of Allen Home Masonry has done two jobs for us in Arlington. He does great work at a competitive price and is a pleasure (yes, I said pleasure) to work with. He was reliable, responsive and professional.



The first job Martin did for us was a new brick landing with walkway. He took up the old walkway so it would all match, poured the concrete pitched to shed water, and did a beautiful job laying the brick. The second job was bigger: repairing a retaining wall, walkway and front stoop. Martin did the repairs plus put new brick on the stoop and stairs. Again, he did a great job.



After almost 30 years of projects on several properties, Martin is a find who will stay on our contractor list for any masonry work we have. We would be happy to show you his work.

In April, 2009, I contracted Allen Home Masonry (owner Martin Allen) to repair weathered mortar joints and re-lay pavers for the front entrance of my townhouse in Springfield, VA. I received several bids for the work, and concluded that Martin provided the best method for making the repairs at a fair price. Martin and his assistant did an outstanding job in performing the repairs. He was very reliable with scheduling, and carried out the work with professionalism and dedication. He was a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend his services as he is a very skilled in his trade and a excellent business person.
