My husband I were looking into birth control options and Dr. Rush suggested two options.



We were told by Dr. Rush's staff option 1 would cost us $750 out of pocket and option 2 would be covered by our insurance with simply a co-pay. Obviously being on a budget and it being the holidays we opted for the version covered by our insurance with only a copay.



To our dismay 2 months later we receive a bill OUT OF NOWHERE from Dr Rush for $700 -- upon further investigation we found out that they KNEW of another option which would've been covered under our copay for $20.



When we approached the office trying to find some resolution we were told basically that it's our fault for trusting them and we should have ran down someone on the insurance companies side to confirm the price before moving forward.



So basically, if you think that you should be able to TRUST your physician (and their staff) to make ethical decisions for both your physical & financial well being you should NOT GO HERE.



SUMMARY: We were told procedure would cost $20 then 2 months later Dr. Rush sent us a bill for $750 and told us "too bad".
