We are currently offering landscaping services (design and installation), sprinkler systems by a licensed irrigator, annual state-required backflow prevention tests by a licensed backflow inspector, drainage problem solutions, and the design of gardens, plus consultations on any garden problem you may encounter. Many of our plants are priced lower than in Bastrop or Austin -- and the sales tax is lower here in Persimmon Hills, just outside of River Crossing.

Bastrop Gardens is a full service garden center and pick-your-own farm located 9 miles from Bastrop and 10 miles from Austin/Bergstrom Airport on Old 71.

Accreditation

Owner Deena Spellman has a Botanist/Biology degree with a Horticulturist Minor graduated cum laude, holds a Horticulture Certificate and a Texas Department of Agriculture Floral Permit for Bastrop Gardens Organic Nursery, and has over 20 years in the retail nursery business. Her husband is a licensed irrigator (LI7348) and Licensed Backflow Inspector (BPAT 8534) with over 10 years experience in designing, installing and repairing sprinkler systems and has a degree in Journalism.
