Simply Cakes

i have tried this place twice. The cake has been dry both times. Icing is the only thing good. Nothing has topped Sweet Memories Bakery so far in the Apex area.

I have ordered several cakes and they are always delicious and beautiful. Staff is friendly and helpful. Worth the price!!

I was a former loyal customer of Simply Cakes. I ordered several cakes and was happy with them and would still be their customer today IF they lived up to their customer service pledge. After being very disappointed with the quality of a recent order I followed their website's invitation to provide feedback. Since they state their strong commitment to customer satisfaction and keeping their customers happy I was not expecting the response I received. I called the day after we picked up the cake and asked to speak to the owner. Over a week passed with no returned phone call. I called again and finally spoke to the owner who clearly was not interested in any negative feedback about the quality of her product and she before I could even fully explain my concerns she stated that she was not giving me my money back and I didn't have to order cakes from her in the future. I never asked for my money back during the call nor did I ask for any type of compensation. I was calling as a (now former) loyal customer who was interested in making sure that the owner was aware of customer concerns. You are searching this site because you want customer feedback so I give you this tip - Buy cakes at your own risk. You might receive a great cake or you might not. If you don't, just know that the best they are willing to do is to argue about how they didn't do anything wrong and to tell you to shop somewhere else - which by the way I'm VERY happy to do!
