2nd Generation Drywall

I havent been on this in years but the above non 5 star rating is bogus. Go look anywhere online 2ndgenerationdrywall is 5 stars all day long

So I’m not even sure where to start with how upset, mad and completely shocked with how this whole process was handled by Chris Daly with 2nd Generation Drywall. Stated that it would take about 7 buckets of mud to do the house and it turned out that he needed 18 actually because the upstairs was so thick. The kicker here is that we bought an extra one (19th bucket) so we could do the rest of the house for wall repairs, but he apparently ended up “using” that one as well. Only 14 buckets were left in the house and his excuse was “we put our tools in the others and took them home, but don’t worry they were used.” Super sketchy dude that will talk and talk and talk just complete bullshit half the time and has an excuse for everything. They made a huge hole in my upstairs bathroom that he argued with me that wasn’t made by him. He did end up fixing it after I’m the one that found it visiting me home. Funny that how after I pointed it out though he had told my husband that he would fix our bathroom hole for an additional $200 and the cracked walls in the master bathroom closet, but all of sudden did not have the time to do that. We had originally only hired him to do the ceilings to smooth them out, but said he would do the work on the other items. He left drywall mud everywhere on the walls, sink, tub even though plastic was laid down. When he came out to do the estimate he quoted us $2,000 for everything as long as we bought the plastic. It was never discussed that we would have to be the ones to put it down and that he would not clean up. He left a huge mess. He should have communicated better with his customers. According to him however he stated that, that was said though. So unprofessional constantly complaining while over about the ceilings. Saying that he squeezed us in on his busy schedule and made us feel like we should be thankful for that. I do not recommend him to anyone and we are now having to hire a separate drywall repairmen to fix his mistakes.

Chris hung and finished drywall in my basement and did an excellent job. Highly recommend this company. He was on time and always kept me in the loop during the process. Thanks Chris!

2nd Generation Drywall did an excellent job patching up my drywall. Their service was prompt and efficient. The job was done so well I no longer know where the hole in my wall was!!! I would definitely use them again and recommend them for all your drywall repair needs!
