I'm astonished, and have infact used the guys at Five Star for 143 projects in the past 2 and a half years. I honestly came up on this little gem, in 2008 when I had a project running well in Orlando, FL - when one week into the "MAJOR REMODEL.", our sub-constractor ..... went bankrupt, horribly. With T-4 hours to get a commercial contractor on site. Second call, after hours, I got a pleasant female voice that said "Monica Dover Edwards. Five Star." Panicky, I began to release frustration and fear on Ms. Monica. She calmly said, "...awh, no problem - what are you stressing about, doll? This is what we do. Let's talk a bit about the scope and then I'll have you forward over some information, but to calm your nerves....WE WILL HAVE A GRADE A, BLUE RIBBON CONTRACTING CREW ON YOUR PROJECT LOCATION, right beside the the BIG BLACK EARS of that famous mouse, in Sunny Florida bright and early in the morning, 6 am with coffee and donuts. Now breathe."



I was still terrified, thinking oh dear - I've just talked with June Cleaver from the black and white rerun starring Jerry Madders as the Beaver...there's no way. I'm never gonna get this project done. After several other attempts on contacting additional contractors. I submitted the scope of work to Miss Monica at fivestarinc@bellsouth.net. Within, half an hour. She had me on conference call with "The Project Manager," Mark Edwards - which happened to be her husband. With several project managers, and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM being sic man. (yea, sic means awesome). My experience with Mark, going over the scope with me. Touching the points that could get the crew to work immediately on a task that was pertinent to the scope, he said...I'll send you out an Introduction to our Company and this project, along with estimates of time and currency. The final page will be pertinent, these are the questions that COULD ARRISE, by my crew in regards to the Scope. It also requests contact information, for YOUR COMPANY to be and any other CONTACT INFORMATION regarding the store, manager, district manager and/or Owner information. You'll see a question with a section for your answering to whom we shold be silent with in regards to the project, and to whom we should be open with. Whom it is, if any we should stay in contact with on location. And of course you. Additionally, we will need a list of materials in which we are require to provide vs. materials provided by the company and or owner. We look forward to working with you. I know that this is a rushed situation and we haven't had time to properly meet and go over your construction needs as a whole for your company and/or the endless services that we supply. I do however, look forward to becoming more knowledgable about your company and will be send an Information Guide about CONTRACTING PROJECTS, and the difference of a CONTRACTING PROJECTS with 5 star milestones. This project worked out for the BEST. That's why, as soon as I receive information on any project...I auto forward all correspondence to Five Star Fixturing, Inc.
