Wife & I had dinner thier Mov 2 nd. Food was ok, Food Service was good. The Hostes had an attitude, she & I got into it. She had her way and wisley stayed out of the dinning area while we were present. Sh has no clue as to what CUSTOMER SERVICE IS> This is one paying customer who will not return, to many other good restaurants in Carmel who appreciate your business.

It's easy to overlook this eatery in Carmel, as it is tucked in a tiny alley with minimal signage. But note the streams of people going in and out. Follow your nose to the best Chinese food on the Penisula. I wanted to give FIVE stars for the FOOD. I took one star off for the crowded bedlam which is the cafe seating area! Our choice is to order take out and enjoy the fresh, exotic flavors of their fantastic food at Carmel beach. The pricing is wonderful, and four people can eat cheaper here than at any other restaurant (including Chinese ones in Monterey/Pacific Grove) on the Peninsula. If you lurk by the back door to pick up your to-go order, you can watch the chef slinging fresh vegetables and noodles in the woks, and watch the flames shoot up from the hot oils. A show and dinner!
