As typical - there is both Very Good and otherwise. The good is, the work they do is nice, and high quality, however understand what this means:

I supplied all the paint, so there is no reason for for cutting corners, which is the disheartening attribute with this company, and ALL Competitive Bid Contracting Companies.

My job specified repainting my house, which the contract specified:
Prime and (2) Two Coats - Everything.

First they primed, which is fine - however, they only partially rolled out for the most part and did not cut in around the windows, doors, etc. (About Typical).

Secondly, they painted ONE full Top Coat and very nicely done, including precisely cutting in around the windows, doors. However, they left a 2" unpainted strip at the bottom of the garage door. I called the owner "Steve" and he said he would come out and look at it. When he came out to my residence and I pointed it out - He said I was being unreasonable.

Additionally, his painters tried to Pass Off - One Coat as Two Coats (Typical). I objected.

They are pre dis-positioned to cut corner's. Impression: I attribute this to the very competitive business environment they must operate in.

In the end, they did a Very Good - High Quality Job (Very Commendable). However, I had to watch and question the corner cutting to get this corrected.

Finally, I had to touch up the Garage Door they performed an incomplete job on; I have pictures of this, and the entire job, not posted.

PS: Incidentally, I am a Florida Licensed Building Inspector. I was requested by them and their marketing affiliate - to rate / evaluate the job performance and give feedback. Hopefully, they (Steve's Painting) will continue with the High Quality Workmanship & revise their otherwise contracting & methodology accordingly. Finally, they are a Highly Competent - Good Quality Contractor - I Would Hire Again!
