Nicaea Academy

A great Christian atmosphere. I am pleased that my children can be in a place where they can be encouraged to pray, read, talk, and learn more about God. There are not that many schools left that allow this let alone encourage it. I know the teacher that is/ was unhappy, and I know that the situation was actually caused by her. Under this teachers care my child was watching a cartoon every afternoon at pickup time. Now the new teacher brings them outside for physical activity or encourages mind building activities in the class. If I wanted my children to watch a cartoon every afternoon, I would hire a babysitter. If this teacher is reading this, be careful what you sow, for you will reap it all in return. My children have been nothing but happy. They have always been taken care of, fed what they needed to be, and had enough to drink. They have received spiritual, emotional, mental and physical nourishment. We are blessed to have such a school in our community.

My child has been with this school for over 6 months and has been in two different classes because of the age difference. Every time I have been present at the school I am welcomed by the front office staff with smiles and a welcome and even when leaving they are sure to wish me well and a good evening. I trust each of the staff and my childs teacher. I receive calls, emails and Facebook postings from the school often. This school does not at all reflect the concerns that have recently been mentioned in the local news. I KNOW the former teacher and the parents involved and well as you see DCF and CCPD found NOTHING wrong. I feel completely safe with leaving my child in the care of this school and already have plans for the next school year and beyond. I learned in my life to make my own decisions and judgments with my child not making decisions off of those who do not properly do their research and make statements that in turn make them look like a fool. Finally just so it is placed in the universe. The former employee that started all of this has done this before to two other schools in the Cape Coral area. Interestingly enough nothing came from those as well. But the word on the street is that she is still working in this field at another Christian school in the Cape it is only a matter of time before she bites again. This is criminal and should be stopped.

My Children have been attending Nicaea Academy for 8 months now and They have been treated great! They come home telling me what they learned and are excited to go to school the next day. I am so happy that I have found A loving and caring School where my children can grow and thrive.
