I was trying to get an estimate for a screen enclosure for our entry way. When we built our house in 2011 fabri-tec did the pool cage and screen and they did a good job at that time so I thought it might be a good idea to call them to get this estimate. First time I called I was told that I would receive an email containing the estimate. I was wondering about that information because they did not ask what exactly we wanted, for example one door or two doors, any design etc. I waited 4 days but nothing happened, I did not receive a call or an email from fabri-tec. So I decided to call again. Unfortunately I could not remember the name of the representative I spoke to days before and I also could not tell if it was Monday or Tuesday of that week when I first called in, so the lady on the phone told me that then it would be difficult to proceed! What??? Why??? They had my name and phone number... I asked if we just could start over pretending I never called before and was answered that that was not the way they were working! I find that answer strange and rude but well... Finally I received an email the same day with an estimate that was almost twice as high as the other estimates we got... And still nobody had asked me what exactly we wanted and nobody had been out at our property to do measurements ( I was told they are taking this information from the internet ) ... Well this is definitely not the way we do business and we had another company do our screen. I am definitely not going to recommend fabri-tec to any friends or family members!!! And let me just finally mention that we were not looking for the CHEAPEST offer but for the most qualified looking!!!

Absolutely the worst experience with a contractor ever. We just purchased a new home in Lehigh Acres Florida and have had many various home improvements done - Kitchen, Bath and others. Each time we contacted a few companies to get a bid on the project. I was the National Trainer for Temo Sunrooms in Michigan and currently the National Trainer and Regional Consultant for Dimension One Spas. It took more than three weeks to get Fabri-Tech out to the home for a POOL CAGE and new SCREEN ROOM quote. When J.D. finally arrived on Thursday morning he came into the backyard and said - "ow I can see what you want" and after a little conversation, he asked "Are you getting bids" , when I told him "YES, you are the last one" he said "I am not really interested because we are NOT the cheapest". Nearly half of the companies that came to my home said this, but they were all more professional than J.D. and so I asked hime to leave immediately. As a person who handled 10 to 15 Patio Sunroom Sales Consultants on a daily basis, still today working with Retailers, Training Sales perople, if one of my people ever said "NO" to get more business the y would not work for me. I would not recomend them to anyone at any time. Sorry, but there are other options out there!

They have several divisions. We dealt with concrete, new construction, and repair. All were sorely lacking in quality of work, communication, and professionalism. Certainly not what we were expecting and actually surprisingly bad. Things like failed inspections, showing up randomly at all hours, never having the right parts or tools on the truck, and making a mess of the worksite left us feeling like we should have gone with a lower bid.
