The contract was for $7,800 NOT $8,400. Superintendent Al was running the system with a clogged filter, was advised several times NOT to run it while sanding sheet rock or floors. I removed the dirty filter, shut the system OFF & told Al to put a clean filter in the system. I only supply one filter per return, per job.

If you run a system without filters, your warranty is voided.

That wasn't a truck, blocking the entrance. It was 5 or 6 huge trees that someone had cut down & had the entire front of the property blocked.

There was nothing at all wrong with the installation of the return air ductwork.Your system began freezing up because Al never replaced the filter. Al ignored my advice & ran it anyway for approx. 2 weeks while sanding was still in progress, which means he was using your evaporator coil for a filter. That explains the 1.5 tons of actual/usable tonnage instead of the 4 tons installed.

If your other “contractor” had investigated further, he would have found the evaporator coil to be stopped up. Why does it take you 1 ½ years to start complaining about your system? It is now 4 yrs later.

I tried to contact you by phone on 8/21/17, a day after finding the internet review you left, but got no answer. I left a message for you to contact me ASAP. You have ignored that, too, You and Al have ignored all advice. Libel is a cause for a lawsuit. I had my lawyer advise you to retract your libelous review. I resent the fictitious crap and slanderous garbage you put on the internet.

FYI: Your superintendent, Al, was stoned out of his head on weed 24/7 & he told us he used it for “medical reasons”. He spent the day sitting in his truck smoking weed & sleeping. He offered my employees some; they refused. If I needed anything from him, I would have to wake him up. Get the picture?

BUYER BEWARE THIS COMPANY! In late spring of 2016 I had a 4 ton heat pump installed by this company at our home at 124 Wilderness Point Rd in Hartwell GA. They demanded half the total price ($8400) upfront and the remainder before the job was completed. After 'completion', we found that the air blew from the vents so low that you could barely feel it 12" above the vents and the house would not cool down. It took over a week to get them to come back. When they finally came back, another contractor was parked in the driveway, so Air Zone left, refusing to walk extra the 20 feet. Another week goes by, they show up, turn the fan in the unit up to blow harder (still not very hard), and charged me $300. By this spring, less than a year later, the outside unit was freezing up and the house would not cool. After many unanswered calls and emails to Paul Eiffler at AirZone, we were forced to call another company. $3400 later, the unit is working properly. When the unit was installed, they obviously did not do a vacuum test, because the system had a leak, which allowed the freon to escape and the lines to become contaminated by outside air/pollutants. On top of this, the entire return system ductwork was so improperly installed, that my expensive 4 ton heat pump was being restricted to 1.5 tons of actual use. Now, the unit blows very hard, with cold air. AirZone has a terrible reputation in the area among other contractors, you would be better off using ceiling fans than this company.
