But before we hear what some of our customers have to say, lets take a journey through time and learn more about the Goettl beginnings. The Goettl brothers began their adventure in 1926 in Mansfield, Ohio. Several years later, the brothers Adam, John, and Bill moved out west to Phoenix, Arizona, to seek opportunities during the Great Depression. Hence, the Phoenix-based Goettl Air Conditioning was founded and went on to become an internationally known pioneer in the mass production of evaporative coolers and a variety of other innovations in heating and cooling technology. At one time, the Goettls held more than 100 patents. Fast forward to 1987 and a little further north, Adam and Ted (grandsons of Adam Goettl) are founders and co-owners of Goettls High Desert Mechanical. Since 1987, they have continued their family tradition of providing and servicing comfort systems in thousands of homes and businesses throughout central and northern Arizona. Along with a steady diet of custom homes, new builds and remodels, and commercial projects, Goettls resume of tract housing developments, especially over the last decade, is worthy of note. In the Verde Valley- Brookfield communities (the Verde Sante Fe Golf Course project), Mountain Gate, and Del Webb Cottonwood Ranch, are but a few of the projects with Goettls installations. In Prescott Valley and Prescott- Quailwood, Stoneridge, Granville and Prescott Lakes head an incomplete list of completed or ongoing projects.
