Calabasas Dental Care Dr. Roger Garrett

Dr. Garrett saw me on a Sunday afternoon after I had an accident, breaking my front teeth. He got me out of pain and repaired my broken teeth. That was several years ago. Just recently, Dr Garrett restored my smile to one I can be proud of. Thank you Dr. G for your kindness and wonderful dentistry.

I wish I could give this dentist more than 5 Stars. No one is any more afraid if dentists than I am. I saw Dr. Garrett experiencing intense pain. He was understanding, professional and, above all else, GENTLE. I'm a convert. I'm getting dental work done that I've need for years. Thanks Dr. G

I had two veneers placed on my front teeth by Dr Garrett. I was never completely satisfied with the results as the color was off and the veneers chipped after a few months. When I tried to obtain all of my dental records from his office, I heard a different story each time I called. The bottom line is I never received the records for my veneers and the inconsistencies were extremely concerning, especially from a doctor's office.

I had been to Dr. Garrett's office for several years. Sometimes I would go to another dental office closer to where I lived. One visit Dr. Garrett was very dishonest with me. He told me it was against the law for him to clean my teeth without taking x-rays. I told him I had x-rays less than a year ago and I hadn't had a cavity in 30 years. The x-rays were taken at another dental office. I offered to go home and get them. Dr. Garrett was being very pushy so I just left.



I decided to go back to my previous dentist. When I called to get my records first I was told Dr. Garrett didn't give copies. I kept called and requesting my info. I was then told half of the records were in storage and the other half of my file was at Dr. Garrett's office.

I kept calling. I was then told all my records had been electronically entered and I would be receiving everything in the mail soon. When my records didn't come, I called and sent a FAX. I was sent a letter from his office with details about some of the treatment I had received. The receptionist that wrote this letter must have been looking at my dental records to have written this letter as the details were too specific. When I called and questioned Dr. Garrett he told me it was all just a lucky guess and my records were lost. He was sorry but oh well. I did not believe him.



It is concerning to have a doctor be so dishonest with you.

I really wanted Dr. Garrett to be a good dentist because he is soo close to my house. Unfortunately he is not an honest dentist. He said I needed a filling and then once he had completely gutted out my tooth he said I needed a crown. He didn't give me a choice in the matter whatsoever. I have always had very good teeth and never needed dental work. Then to make matters worse he did the same thing 6 months later; said I needed a filling and once he gutted my tooth said I needed a crown. As I was waiting in the patient room I heard him tell the guy in the room over he was going to need a crown. He charges 2k per crown. It doesn't take a genius to do the math. My current and wonderful dentist told me the crown that was used was not done very well. I am having one of the crowns re-done and guess what my dentist only charges $1200 and does better work and he talks to you before he does the work. Stay away from this one.
