Pro Temp of Illinois Inc

I was a bit wary to use this company as the Yelp reviews don’t offer a lot of content, though Pro Temp of Illinois was recommended by a friend.

I gave them a call on Wednesday and they had availability immediately. Very professional customer service and they were patient with my many ignorant questions. They were honest and upfront about pricing, which I really value. I can't stand it when companies refuse to provide quotes - it makes me feel like I'm being ripped off.

We had a fantastic team come out. Professional and thorough.

Services I used:
- Furnace cleaning: We had recently purchased a home and the previous owners had not cleaned the furnace in 10 years. The Pro Temp crew did a good job servicing the machine and explaining how I can keep the filters clean. The cost for service was reasonable-
Air Duct cleaning: Here they were very detail-oriented and had a camera to show before-and-after views of the ducts.
- Dryer Vent cleaning: They provided this service also and went above and beyond to make sure that the vent was properly functioning. They went outside to ensure that the dryer vents were opening.

I would definitely hire them again for maintenance on the air ducts, dryer vents, and furnace in my condo. I'm so glad I did it because I now have the peace of mind that the air flow in my condo is clean and fresh.

I highly recommend Pro Temp. They are responsive, reasonable, work quickly, and they're even nice. They did a repair then a new furnace install.



My furnace went out on a recent cold morning, when I had guests staying and more coming the next day. I called, left a message and someone called back in just a few minutes. They were able to get someone out the next morning even though they had a lot of customers in the same predicament. He fixed the problem temporarily, and explained what was wrong, and suggested I get a new furnace. I knew I really needed a new furnace and with the savings I will get from the install it just makes sense.



I got a quote that same night. Then the furnace went out again (cracked heat exchanger) and we scheduled the new install for Sunday morning - how many people can you get to come out on a Sunday morning except by paying extra! As it turned out, they finished early on their Saturday jobs and came out Saturday night and installed my new furnace.



Thanks to the crew at Pro Temp of Illinois my house is warm and cozy again, and my guests were happy.

This is my third ac unit in the last 4 years. I have been ripped off, scammed and taken advantage of by one the of more "popular" HVAC services in the Chicagoland area and have just about had it! Gosh, almost ready to by a freakin fan to cool my house. But that was until I ran into a pro-temp employee while shopping at a local grocery store. While in line the subject of air conditioning came up and I shared my frustrations with him. Long story short, we set up an appointment, he came and fixed the ac and the service was so incredibly impeccable, I have zero concern and the utmost belief that this thing will last me the next ten years. Anyway, job well done, extremely reasonably priced and very knowledgeable! Would recommend to an alien if they landed and needed work done. Thanks Pro Temp!

This company did not get the permit needed to install a furnace or a/c in West Peoria, IL. They also messed with my hot water heater. Pushed apart the stack at the back of my dryer so when used did not go out of the house but released into the basement. Installers were not professional during the installation and could not speak English. Also broke a display hanging in my laundry room and did not tell us, we found it ourselves after they left. Installers were very green and a/c broke down within 4 months and unit lost cooling.

I recently had a furnaced replaced & repositioned from the crawl space to the garage. I must say that I found Pro Temp's services to be outstanding, from acquiring permits, to installation, to old furnace removal, to setting up convenient coordinating times for the inspector, Pro Temp, & myself.

I suggest to viewer's avoid getting "a guy" that you or a friend may know & leave it to a reputable company for great service & peace of mind. I will recommend Pro Temp's services to any friend that is in need of help. Obviuosly, I was really taken by this company's work & work ethics, I took the time share my experience.
