Tri County Excavating

They were very courteous in informing us that they had to install a 12" water main all the way across our property in a utility easement. In a letter they left at our door, they said they would respect our property and return it to 'its original conditions' ASAP. Apparently, unknown to me, our yard must have been full of gravel piles and large (softball and bigger) stones before they began....because that's what it is now. Then the (subcontractor?) people that put down grass seed couldn't seem to afford enough seed to stay under budget, so they used it VERY sparingly. My yard wasn't beautiful before they started, but now I can't even mow it. I've already filled a 4x8x3 cart with stones twice and have only made about 150 feet of progress. I know that I wasn't paying for services (the water main won't even serve my residence), but I do feel that if anyone is going to excavate my property --for several hundred feet -- that it should have been as flat and smooth and rock free as it was to begin with when the job was completed. Tri County, I do hope you see this. I want my yard fixed. The work performed was sub-par at best. I can't imagine that this is representative of your typical work, is it?

Have to say they were very courteous, efficient, and respectful of my property and family while in the performance of their work.
