Located in Bryan, Texas, the Brazos County Juvenile Department is a public service agency that is charged with the responsibility of rehabilitating youthful offenders. It offers services to juveniles, juveniles families, victims and the community-at-large. The department maintains partnerships with a variety of law enforcement agencies, school districts, faith-based organizations, citizen volunteers and multiple community providers. The Brazos County Juvenile Department operates a juvenile justice center and employs a staff of more than 15 personnel, including probation managers, court service supervisors, psychological assessment aides, and counseling and victim restoration service specialists. It supports the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission, which investigates the allegations of abuse, neglect and exploitation in juvenile justice programs.
