This company stole $4,600 from me. Gerald Steuer, Master Plumber will low ball you into signing a contract for replacement of a furnace. After I gave his the deposit, the cost of the job went from $7,800 to $11,700. Gerald will tell you need all these bells & whistles for the installation. After 4 months, the furnace wasn't installed or returned to the distributor. The furnace cost $652. All Mechanical refused to return the money or do the work unless I paid the remaining funds $7,100. They received tax free money from me and a lot of other consumers because it cost more to try and get the money back through the legal system for funds under $5000. These unreported funds go undetected from IRS. It is likely there unscrupulous, potentially fraudulent practices have raked in more $120,000 from seniors citizen, mother with small children and hardworking people . Check out the BBB for other complaints. Use another company, even it you get the furnace from National Grid. There are not Valuable Contractor for National Grid as they alluded to. National Grid denied there affiliation with them.
