The Brigham City Police Department is a law enforcement agency that preserves peace, deters crime, and maintains law and order. It undertakes cases related to human trafficking, domestic violence, missing persons and criminal offenses. The department operates an animal control division that provides a shelter for stray, injured and at-large animals. The Brigham City Police Department has an operations division that is comprised of bike, patrol and K-9 units. It has a Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) team that conducts drug raids and deals with barricaded suspects and hostage situations.
