In operation since 1912, the Crimson fleet of response vehicles represents quality engineering and value. The company makes and sells pumpers, aerials, heavy duty rescue vehicles, mini rescue trucks, tankers and quick attack units. The Crimson Fire company was formed in 1997 when Spartan Motors purchased and later combined two successful companies: Luverne Fire Apparatus and Quality Manufacturing. The company s headquarters is in Brandon, S.D. Heavy Duty Rescue units from Crimson can be built with tubular stainless steel or extruded aluminum and include exclusive Crimson features such as the Tri-Max Body Structure, Vibra-Torq Mounting System and MultiPlex Electrical System.
