Tanglewood Family Dental

Go somewhere else. Ever since "Tanglewood" took over, the place is a disaster. They try to sell you everything under the sun before you get out of the chair. The last straw was when I went to get whitening gel and they told me they won't sell it to me because I didn't purchase my trays from them (the trays are 20 years old). I have been a patient of Dr. Cohen's (now retired) for 16 years. Forget it. There are other great dentists in the area.

I went to this office two years ago. They said they would "discount" the services that I needed done if I paid cash AND got it all done in one day. Not only was I told later on that the work I had done by this office was not needed (what they call fill and bill) the Dr. took it upon himself to shave my front tooth to "match the other front tooth" which is now slanted and crooked! THIS IS NOT ALL! About a few months later I started receiving bills from their office for around $300 so I called to fix the issue. After all I paid CASH and went through a lot of pain all at once to get it reduced! I spoke with Sondra AND the Office MGR Ellen on more than one occasion. I was reassured that it was their error and to disregard.. Now I am receiving a letter FROM A CREDITOR for $413! They have sent this to the credit company and told me it was from an office visit that my insurance at the time did not cover. All my attempts to try and figure out what was wrong were quieted and I now have marks against me!
