DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY is a system where traditional dental x-rays and processing are replaced by small sensors. This system takes considerably less time to produce an image. Exposure to radiation is significantly reduced, with only 10% of the amount of radiation being necessary to produce the image. Once an image is taken, it appears automatically on a computer screen or television and is saved into the patients chart.

The CAVITRON is an ultrasonic scaler. Power scalers do a more thorough job in less time. This results in significantly decreased scaling time, healthier gums, and cleaner teeth. This form of teeth cleaning comes in handy when removing stain and deposits from behind and between the teeth. The ultrasonic vibration helps control oral bacteria by breaking down the cell wall of the bacteria.
