"Rodolfo Reyes, M.D., specializes in internal medicine and geriatrics. He holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, ACLS, and Basic Life Support, BLS. Dr. Reyes earned his medical degree from the Iberoamerican University School of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in June 2014. He graduated magna cum laude and in the top 10% of the class. As an undergraduate, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in General Studies from Valencia College in Orlando, Florida, in August 2008 and studied microbiology at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida, from August 2008 to December 2008. Dr. Reyes is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Golden Key International Honor Society. In 2015, he received the Queens Medical Associates Learning Curve Award. Academically, Dr. Reyes took part in the quality improvement project, “Implementation of the Diabetes Passport” in the Florida Atlantic University Clinic for Better Glycemic Control. He has also researched moderate statin prescription compliance in patients 75 years and older. His poster presentations include “Alectinib Induced Hemolytic Anemia: An Unreported Side Effect” and “SGLT-2 Inhibitor Induced Euglycemic Diabetic Ketoacidosis - Raising Awareness” presented at the 2017 Future of Medicine, the Palm Beach County Medical Society, and “Iatrogenic Mid-Tracheal Laceration,” presented at the 2017 Future of Medicine, the Palm Beach County Medical Society, and the Florida Chapter of the American College of Physicians Annual Scientific Meeting in December 2017. Dr. Reyes volunteered his time and expertise in Heart Care Dominicana in 2013 and in Operation Smile in 2014. He is currently completing his fellowship at Harvard. He enjoys learning about other cultures and languages."
