Castaway

Castaways food is as good as any seafood restaurant in Destin or Panama City. We have taken friends there and we have never been disappointed. Waitstaff is always friendly and service is good. I love the shrimp and scallops. The shrimp are a nice size and scallops are the real thing. Our favorite seafood place.

Stopped here on our yearly trip to Destin FL. There was 10 of us and we didn't have to wait. It was amazing! Shrimp po boy was the best I've ever had! Would recommend!

Observed girl from back sweeten tea by stirring elbow deep in tea urn. If that wasn't bad enough her arm had several open sores on it. I am in law enforcement and to me looked like meth sores. Mentioned it to our waitress Donna who responded by saying yea that's why I don't drink the tea. She also advised that the kitchen was full of roaches and hamburger meat that morning was green and was used in taco soup. She helped us pick out something clean to eat. We truly appreciate her help. My family will not go back to castaway again but look forward to visiting Donnas home restaurant we hope she will have soon. Also place is VerY loud and alot of obscene language coming out of kitchen. this place is gonna make someone ill.

Finally! A restaurant in Bonifay I can brag about! :) The food is delicious, the service was great. Nice and clean. The only thing(s) I might change is maybe adding a few more side & appetizer choices, and maybe some lower priced choices....But overall a really great experience. We will go back again and recommend to anyone.

BEST place in Bonifay area to eat. It is CLEAN, owners very nice and workers are very accomadating to the customers. Super place to go have a meal. The food is great with many food choices.
