LOVE HER!!! If you are looking for an honest vet who loves animals, this is her!! She is simple and VERY knowledgeable. Now it's not high dollar and fancy, if you want fake and overdone keep looking.

Visited vet two times. My dog is purebred and has adverse reactions to vaccinations. Discharge/vomiting/lethargy. I conveyed this to vet on first visit. Second visit I was going to be boarding dog while at beach and need distemper shot and bordetella shot (or note from vet saying that dog has adverse reaction to bordetella) to be admitted. Vet said that she would not give note and he must have shot, which I strongly disagreed with. I request that she not take his temperature as this makes him uppset. she insisted that she must take his temperature which would only upset dog further. I am student 3 years into healthcare studies so am as knowledgeable as your average person regarding vaccines. My dog is 4 and has been around hundreds if not thousands of. Dogs at dogparks and has surely been exposed to the things which she wanted to vaccinate against....... making the vaccine an ineffective and uneccesary while putting my dog at risk again. My dog is now lethargic and sick and whining whenever he is touched. Some vets contend that dog being in pain after vaccine is normal..... but if you think about it this regardless of your knowledge of pphysiology you would realize how ridiculus this is. To my surprise I look at the paperwork and it looks that she gave him a total THREE additional vaccines that we NEVER discussed. This explains why I was not given itemized reciept. Money is not an issue to me when it comes to my dog and would pay for her clinical knowledge. However it is my opinion that that she is severely lacking in clinical knowledge, she is a masochist, or she will do whatever to run your bill up. Compromising my dogs immune system prior to him being boarded by adding additional vaccines is ridiculus and not in best interest of dog. I am livid. If your dog is like your child and you dont want unnecesary and potentially/probably harmful intervention performed on your vet please find another vet.
