My friends is moving from france to boca raton for buisness so she asked me to go visit some places for her. She found a nice appartment online and send an email to the realtor(Eliezer Aranya) and gave him my phone number.

So i took 1 hour off from my work to meet the realtor at the appartment. He seems nice at first but first thing he told me was "we need to move fast on this appartment because i have an offer with more money than the asking price and 10 months deposit" Yeah Right !!!

The next day i called him back because my friend wanted to do the deal (but at the asking price).

I also told him that the wire for the deposit might take between 1 week to 10 days.

after 2 days he was already putting pressure on us for the money.

When we finally got the money i called him on a saturday at 11 AM to come pick up the money at my place because i am working on saturday but my wife was home.

my wife has been waiting until 3 pm with my 2 kids. So she decided to take the kids out.

He texted me at 3.30Pm to stop by and i told him nobody was home anymore and i will call him when i leave my work. I texted him at 5 pm to tell him i was home. He called me back at 7 pm to come but i was about to leave to have dinner with friends.He said "No you wait for me 5 minutes" not in a nice way.

I said " no i am leaving, my wife has been waiting for you all day"

He start to become rude and told me the deal is off, i dont want to rent you this appartment.

He told me that i was playing game, that i didn't have the money for the deposit( i send him right away a picture of the money).

I was so mad after that and explained him that it was a not way to treat a customer. i didn't take any decisions right away because the appartment was not for me. But the next day after explaining the attitude of the agent to my friend she of course decided to call off the deal.

Anyway my friends first experience to find an appartment in boca raton was a desaster, Thanks to Douglas Elliman agency.
