Minnesota Gastroenterology, also known as MNGI, specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and preventative care of adults and children with gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. Minnesota Gastroenterology s nurse practitioners and physician assistants provide routine and emergency care to patients with a variety of digestive disorders, including gastroparesis, ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain, constipation and irritable bowel syndrome. It also offers a full range of cognitive, diagnostic and therapeutic services to hospitalized patients at several area hospitals, including on-call and emergency coverage. Additionally, the specialty group has a research division that participates in clinical trials for colon cancer prevention, hepatitis, and inflammatory bowel and liver disease. Headquartered in St. Paul, Minn., Minnesota Gastroenterology maintains a location in Bloomington, Minn.
