Such beautiful fabrics, great customer service & expert opinions. I love this place I would recommend them to anyone looking for blinds, drapery, re-upholstering & bedding.

I ordered a king size bedspread, 2 roman shades, and 3 pairs of drapes from Blinds & Drapery by Michael Angelo, and my experience with them was great! They had wonderful customer service, and they definitely had a keen eye for design. My house looks BEAUTIFUL! I got my order installed within 3 weeks. I am so happy with the results, I recommended them to my neighbors, and I will continue to recommend them to others. Thanks ladies!!

Shopping for our new home, we looked up a Blind store and went in to look around. Wow, what a great selection. The lady was very up to date on the latest fashions for the home. We had them come out and measure and bring samples. We did have another place come out and give us a estimate, but after meeting with Carrie we knew she was the professional at this. Besides having four times more of a selection, Carrie gave us a better price right off the bat. She also gave us peace of mind knowing it would be a better product and measured correctly. We are so HAPPY with the way our home looks. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good window treatments and great service and very fair prices.

I am very pleased with my order. I ordered custom Hunter Douglas blinds from Blinds by Michael Angelo and they were measured perfectly and installed in 2 weeks! Great service, great design. I would of never been able to do this without them. Thanks Girls

Very disappointing experience with Blinds & Drapery by Michael Angelo, and Ms. Carrie Gallichio, its president… I received my order way later than what Carrie promised. And when they installed my blinds and draperies, I was shocked to see that they were different from what we agreed on. Carrie never returned my calls and my email, which shows very poor customer service and tells me that she does not care.



I only wish I had visited the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website (http://chicago.bbb.org/consumers/) before I decided to work with Ms. Carrie Gallichio. Blinds & Drapery by Michael Angelo rating: F!!! 18 complaints in the last 3 years, and she responded to only 2!!! 7 complaints in the last year… What’s on the BBB website exactly matches my experience.

I love all my drapery and blinds. I had some new things made and some old things repaired and cleaned. They all came out beautiful. The young lady at the shop was very helpful in picking out fabrics. I am so happy my house is ready for the holidays.

I just received my Hunter Douglas blinds and custom drapery. They are mire beautiful than the pictures I can tell you first hand. I had the owner and daughter come out to my home, what a team. They sure know what fabrics and colors matched perfect in my home. They also re-upholstered my dining room chairs. Everything is so beautiful and well made. I'm super happy and it sure is worth the wait, because their finished product is a work of art. Julie/Roselle

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - as soon as they cash your check bye bye....Carrie refuses all calls and I never even got to talk to her once to explain my problem....simply refuses to have anything to do with you after payment...and I wasnt mad or anything....alllthough I am now....due to ....well I cant sayl ist BAD customer service because it is ABSOLUTELY NO customer service....draperies( PLEATS) were stretched to the max just to get them to cover the windows....NO fullness what-so-ever...which was not what we discussed....( stacked panel at the sides...etc)....I certainly would have been more than happy to work out a resolution...but that is not possible because you are completely written off and not responded to...I have never worked with more unprofessional people....ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE TREATMENT - BUYER BEWARE

Had my draperies made by Blinds & Drapery by Michael Angelo in Bloomingdale, Il. I am so thrilled. My family room and kitchen/dining room look like a million bucks. The best thing is the price was 20% less than the lowest estimate I rec'd. The quality looks like something you would find in the Queens Palace. I just want everyone to know this quaint little family owned shop is a pleasure to do business with. I love supporting my own town and small businesses.

If I could rate less than a 1 star, I would. Carrie Gallichio (the owner) said it would take 4-6 weeks....it's now been 16 weeks and the project is still not complete. They returned calls within that 4-6 week timeframe...but as soon as they were past the due date, they stopped returning phone calls. Even after threatening them with a lawsuit, the owner still hasnt picked up the phone to talk to me about the problem. This company also unethically received my contact information from a third-party service. I was deceived from the minute I picked up the phone.

Once they get your order, forget it. Carrie and Peter (the owners) never return phone calls. If you have a problem with your order, you are doomed. Not one single blind in my order was correct and I have waited over 3 months for my rebate. I called Hunter Douglas and they say that Michael Angelo never even submitted it.



Michael Angelo's rating with the Better Business Bureau is an "F" for good reason. Believe me, shop somewhere else for your blinds and drapery!
