General Info: Block Island School is a coeducational institution that provides a range of educational services to students in kindergarten through grade 12. It offers a verity of academic courses, including English, mathematics, history, science, Spanish, arts, music, physical and health education, business and computer studies and technology education. The school provides opportunities for students to participate in a variety of sporting activities, including basketball, baseball, soccer and volleyball. In addition, its library provides several educational resources, including books, newspapers, magazines, dictionaries, encyclopedias and other reference materials. Its campus includes various classrooms, corridors, a library, gymnasium, music room, cafeteria and playground. The school has been recognized by the Rhode Island Department of Education and is located in Block Island, R.I.
