My favorite restaurant

3D has improved in the last few years. They have a good atmosphere for a fancy date night, or a place to bring family. I love the Mongolian grill and their cheesecake. The nicest and most accommodating waitresses to request are Andrea or Marion. Marion treats children very kindly so they have fun at dinner. The male bartender does magic tricks and sings songs. The grill chefs are usually talkative and nice as they cook your food. Always a fun night at 3D

This has to be one of the worst run restaurants that I have ever eaten at. The wait staff looks and acts like they are on meth. The steaks are bland and the cooks don't seem to know how to cook a steak any other way then well done or rare. The deserts are way over priced, the brownies you get with ice cream are the same brownies that you can make at home with a box of powder. I bet they go to Costco and get a huge box of brownie mix for $2 and then they turn around and charge you $5 for one brownie and ice cream, please! The Mongolian Grill is not what it is hyped up to be, rotten food, dirty and the cooks are young guys that you can tell never cooked in a restaurant at all and they are said to be "skilled chefs"! I had a complaint about my steak not being cooked to the temp that I asked and the manager Sandy was snotty and rude, she obviously thinks that she is some kind of beauty queen that is above having to listen to your dissatisfaction. The bartender is a fat and lazy woman, who spends most of the evening watching the tv they have set up in the bar. She has the nerve to act like your such in inconvenience to her tv watching schedule when you ask for a drink. There was an NFL game on this night and you would think that in a bar that's what would be on the tv, no, she was watching some dating reality show and refused to change the channel. This place only cares about the dirty trashy and old and decrepit regulars that eat here every night, if you are not one of these regulars expect to have a horrible time and horrible food.

I like 3D. The staff is always spot on and the food is consistantly good. Mongolian is priced better here than anywhere in town.

Great Mongolian Food

My wife and I just had dinner and dessert and 3-D's. We both had the Mongolian Grill. There was a large selection of ingredients to choose from and the cook did a great job.. The service was good and the homemade huckleberry cheesecake was fabulous. We would highly recommend this restaurant to others.

Overpriced and Overhyped

I was told by everyone I met in Great Falls that I had to try this great restaurant called 3D's, so I took my family. I was told that it was a great place to get both Chinese and Mongolian cuisine, which sounded grreat because I love Mongolian and the rest of the family prefers Chinese. When we got there, we were surprised to find that they had eliminated their entire Chinese menu and were limited to either Mongolian or traditional American fare. My wife ordered a steak and I had the Mongolian, while both the children ended up having basic kid's meals that you could get anywhere, i.e. Mac and Cheese. The food itself was very bland and unremarkable, and when the check came, I was floored. We payed $60 for a meal that wasn't worth $30. Spare yourself the disappointment and find some place else to go for your Chinese/ Mongolian fix.

The 3D is a great old-fashioned supper club

We always go to the 3D when we're in Great Falls. The food is very good, and the service is friendly and helpful. We ate there last week and with 3 adults, with an appetizer and drinks, the total was under $80. Great value.
