Bixby North Elementary School provides classes from prekindergarten through grade four, and enrolls more than 800 students. The school operates under the Bixby Public Schools, and is located in Bixby, Okla. Its curriculum includes accelerated reading program, English, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, and performing and visual arts. The school also provides various sport activities, summer reading program, field trips, choir programs and group activities. Its extracurricular activities include Christmas card contest and summer movies. It has a parent-teacher organization to support the work of the school system, and operates a North Star program to promote and recognize academic achievement and positive behavior. Bixby North Elementary School has a library that offers a variety of reading materials, and operates a daily lunch program at its cafeteria.
