Blue Ribbon Builders, founded in 1975, is located in Big Sky, Mont. The company has more than 15 employees with extensive building experience. Most of its projects are located in the Big Sky area. It also builds homes in other southwestern Montana locations. Blue Ribbon Builders constructs log homes, conventional stick frame homes and commercial structures. It specializes in log building. It builds three to four-custom homes each year for its clients' exacting specifications. It also operates a 2,400-square-foot mill working shop, producing custom cabinetry and unique finish work for its clients. The company is affiliated with various organizations such as National Federation of Independent Businesses, Big Sky Chamber of Commerce, Ducks Unlimited, Big Sky Chapel Finance Committee and Pheasants Forever. It donates its time and financial resources to numerous nonprofits organizations such as Ophir School Council, Big Sky Chapel, Big Sky Ski Education Foundation, Gallatin Canyon Volunteer Fire Department, Jimmie Heuga Foundation, Big Sky Association of the Arts and Montana Ballet Company.
