Watch out for this shady character! My 10 year old daughter and I had come here last fall to purchase some live eels. I asked him for a lb of eels, he put them in his bucket, weighed em and then dumped em into my identical 5 gallon bucket. I looked at them and then asked for an additional lb to be sure that I have enough for the next morning of fishing. He weighed another lb and dumped them in my bucket. My daughter was able to view the scale the whole time and I was not able to from my angle. I was going by the honor system. After the second lb was weighed my little girl spoke up and said Daddy it's wrong, I said what honey, she said it's not right. I immediately told him to weigh the bucket of eels again. Sure enough the bucket of eels was short of weight by about 3/4 of a lb. He said that his bucket was state certified, but again it was identical to mine. I told him to weigh them again in his bucket. He became flustered and asked me if my little girl was the boss. Sure enough the weight was about 3/4 of a lb off again. He was caught, he deliberately shorted us in weight knowing that i wasn't watching the scale! I made him add the eels to the two lb weight that i wanted. We will never go back to this crook again! Be careful!
