Very Poor Customer Service

They offer 1/2 price propane refills each day before a Bobcat game day. Great concept, right? Well, there is a big catch. Every gas grill tank is inspected to be sure the inspection is current. So far so good. On any normal day, they just fix the tank for free on the spot, refill it, and you are on your way. Apparently, on 1/2 price day, this service is not available, as "we do not have enough staff." Think this happens once in a blue moon? Nope. There were three customers in front of me. Including myself, one customer had a tank that was fine and it was filled. The next two customers had multiple tanks, all of which failed, and they left angry. I had four tanks, half of which failed.

First, why can't someone check tanks before the front of the line? Instead you wait in line only to be told there is nothing they can do. (Of course, if you would only come back and pay full price, they would be happy to help.) Second, why would you not staff the area with people to help, when you know full well the rejection percentage is so high?

This is poor planning and poor customer service. I spoke with a couple of the customers. I wonder if the business realizes they are damaging their customer relations far more than they are gaining from the goodwill of a half priced tank.
